These Lying Eyes

Squeesplode, part 2

Does anyone else have yet-to-be-published books they’re highly anticipating?  Squee-ing over.  (Possibly my  new favorite word.)  For me, I know it’s something of a joke. I anticipate them, get them, snuggle them a bit, and then add them to my to-be-read pile because I just don’t have the time.  Regardless, I just can’t wait for:

The Ocean at the End of the Lane by Neil Gaiman

Laini Taylor’s end of her trilogy.  2014–GOSH–sniff, sniff, sniff.  (BTW, yes I know I haven’t read the second yet.  Whateves. I will.  Soon even.)

The Dead in Their Vaulted Arches by Alan Bradley  (Not just this one.  Every one.  Forever.  As USA Today says, “Every Flavia de Luce novel is a reason to celebrate.”  So true, USA Today, so true.  So true, in fact, that I am reading the last one now.  Even though other books have been sitting on my highly-anticipated pile for a while.  Flave went to the front of the list, by-passed the pile, and leapt right into my bag.)

Siege and Storm by Leigh Bardugo

And, of course, whatever John Green writes next.

Have you read The Fault in Our Stars?  No?  Do so.  Now.  Right now.  Go, why are you still here?

Speaking of nerdfighters, I am so, so looking forward to Ilsa and the Happily Ever After by Stephanie Perkins

And even more so–to a level that just can not be explained–the next J.K. Rowling.  But maybe this will give you an idea.

Oh, and my book.  Tee hee.  First two editors= queried.  They seem super flipping awesome, so which me luck!

ps  If you want to know how busy I am lately, just imagine that my amazon pre-orders barely hits the second page.  What?  Everyone doesn’t normally have dozens of pre-orders?

Huh.

pps This is for you, Pastelninja.  *Hugs*
